I grew up at the campsite in Kahl and spent practically my entire childhood and youth there. After my father passed away, I couldn’t return for a long time – it was very difficult for us. However, my sister kept her spot at the campsite, and gradually we developed the desire to have a permanent place there again.

We traveled to the Netherlands several times to look at different chalets and get a good overview. During our search, we came across De Bergjes – and what can we say: we were thrilled from the start!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our advisor showed us several chalets, and when we saw our current one, we knew immediately: this is it! 

Our personal wishes and customizations were also easily accommodated, and the entire process – from planning to delivery – went perfectly.
We will never forget the day of handover. We drove 400 km to De Bergjes and were able to open our new chalet for the first time. Inside, there was a large welcome sign, beautiful cups, and a bottle of champagne ready for us – this touched us deeply.

When the chalet was later transported to Kahl, we celebrated the day with schmalzbrot and mulled wine. We watched in awe as the De Bergjes team set up our chalet with utmost precision. And when it finally stood… what a moment of happiness! 

We wholeheartedly recommend De Bergjes and would come back anytime. The service and customer care are excellent – even now, if there are small things to take care of, everything is arranged immediately.
